Not needed for emulation. I never owned a PSX so I used EPSXE and whatever I got for the N64 in early 2000s. I jumped from a GB/NES in late 90's to a PC. It was like crossing a wormhole to another dimension.

Wireshark would do that. But you need to understand low level tools because in case on some BGP attack you all LLM developers will be fired in the spot. Flakey internet connection: most of current 'soy devs' would be useless. Even

Both OpenTTD and FreeDoom have identical gameplay to the originals but different assets. Also, the level layouts are different in both games as the scenarios are copyrighted, not the concept of the game themselves. If anyone wrote custom ci

Internet says nothing about that; and using VB for DeCSS it's as 'serious' as quickly hacking Perl or TCL (for its day) in order to complete a simple prototype. If any I can just see C++ code which is pretty much portable bec

No, your example can't stand out a simple analysis since both GNU and BSD reimplemented propietary UNIX without the original code, as the OpenTTD rewrite is. How come OpenTTD works on a G4 PowerPC arch if the original code was written

That's the point of game engine reimplementations, but again OpenTTD has no original TTD worlds. Simcity 2000/3000 and Lincity-NG can look pretty close at a distance too, the same with FreeCIV and Civilization 2000. If the issue i

Pre BSD's (386BSD) where in the same case with AT&T Unix and after a few years of rewritting code under BSD licenses they were perfectly ok to ship, from NetBSD 0.9 to FreeBSD, OpenBSD was a NetBSD fork. Current OpenTTD has no form
