i don’t think the crux of the issue is determining how to legislate the priv/publ dichotomy, but rather how can we enable as many people as desire an ability to establish their own chalkboard. legislation as its proceeding is serving

nobody actually cares about margin. you can be entirely unprofitable so long as you show growth quarter after quarter. amazons margins are razor thin if not negative. tesla wasn’t profitable at all until EV legislation, and still struggles
