   Correct me if I'm wrong, but the key understanding for me went even slightly further than that. I don't know exactly how safe it is either, but apparently you need to actually get the foam earplug somewhat into the outer ear canal

   No, you're not the only one. Sure, maybe I have some kind of misophonia, but mainly I just find the sudden bursts of loud typing on mechanical keyboards to be somewhat distracting when I'm trying to focus on something myself. Or t
