Do you find that this requires an unusual amount of self-control? I have no reason to manage my food intake, but in the limited times where I have I've found it quite difficult

We're lucky to have hard-headed people willing to put up with legal threats and bullying tactics. I'm not sure I'd have the spine for it. It reminds me of when Ben Goldacre was sued [0] which luckily his publisher covered the

I subscribed to the audio version of 'The Diff' by Byrne Hobart, and it's auto-generated. There's a few obvious tells, like when describing money - '$3' would be translated to 'dollar three'. But ther

I have this experience with so much equipment in the kitchen. The retail variant has features and knobs etc but is otherwise somehow flimsy, but the commercial variant is rock solid and only does one job. An example is the atrocious slow co

I'm in the process of ripping gsheets out of some internal processes, and the pain they are causing me are immense, so I understand the sentiment of this. However. If those sheets hadn't existed earlier on, I might not have a job

I hope you don't mind this bit of feedback - your comment comes off as snarky, which may not be what you intended. People are talking about their experience in sensitive areas, and so restrictions on devices you can bring in/out i

I have some hobbies (running/gym) that I'd like to have someone to do with who lives near me because my only available time is late in the evening. Do you have any suggestions how to find people for this sort of thing?

I've had to do this due to tech not getting a say in vendor choice. We were given an SSH tunnel, a DB user and a query to run by the vendor and sent on our way. Of course, periodically that query stops working because 'woops we ch
