No. Successful projects don't look bad. If anything I hope it helps me stay clear of companies that would assume otherwise and fail to contact my former bosses used as references. I stayed 4 years at the job before those 3. My current job I

Isn't this just the tip of the iceberg? Much of it is in a suspend emulsion that doesn't neccessarily match the surface outline.

Looks more like musical chairs; the economy stopped and everyone grabbed a seat. Although, I switched jobs in November 2007, August 2008, and December 2009. It seems if you have a technical degree the job outlook hasn't really skipped a bea

I like it, yet can't help but think: "Look at that subtle off-white coloring. The tasteful thickness of it. Oh my God, it even has a watermark!" only in the technological equivalent.

We are the extinction-level event, but many people don't grasp that. Society is what's at stake. Humans can migrate and adapt as they have in the past.

Ericsson headquarters are there, so it isn't like they're some backwater. As for GIPS I've used their voice engine tech before at a startup company. It's pricey, but they do a good job with support and the components are well documented.

It did, but towards the end. In "The Protestant Establishment," Mr. Baltzell pointed to the prejudice and insularity of the elite as the eventual causes of its decline. "A crisis has developed in modern America largely because of the White

The thing to remember about subsidies is that it's the consumer that pays them, not the carrier. Its just diluted into the monthly plan, Verizon would do the same. Switching carriers takes more effort than switching phones for many if not m

Yeah, I don't give them a by on this either. It's not on the level of a BSOD during a CEO demonstration, but it's not promising either.

It's been going on for over 10 years already with barcode IDs in high schools. Now you don't even see the person doing it because they can hide 2 or more cards in a wallet and scan them all at once. The only tip would be a suspiciously clos

I don't profess to understand the challenges of developing an oil well 5000 ft beneath sea level, but does anyone know why there isn't a valve installed that could be shut off by a submersible? What I do know is BP initially said it was rou

Wonder if sjobs@apple.com with attached pictures would've worked. An honest effort isn't "Oh, we called and employee # 1034434393 was clueless." It's on par with a lost wallet. They had all the information.

I find it pretty despicable they made no honest attempt to get the prototype back to Apple. Until they posted actual information they could've returned it to Apple and I'm sure Apple would've reimbursed them the $5K for the phone and possib
