Correct. In many of these companies, part of your evaluation is how many interviews did you give. This means: the game is to do as many as these interviews, typically once a week, such that you are not penalized for doing too few interviews

Facebook should be called to account if they broke any laws and were not prosecuted for it. I don't see any evidence of that in the article. What I do see is an article heavy on racial overtones, as if trying to manufacture outrage at

Your comment is wrong in so many ways. React, Cassandra, OoenCompute, PyTorch, GraphQL: where did these come from? Facebook. Facebook has had to pull off their own feats of engineering. It is a fact whether you like their product or not. I

The FANG company I work for has stringent controls in place as a check against employees attempting to do this. These controls are more comprehensive than those I've seen at other companies.
