I'm fairly sure a small amount of effort from Nintendo combined with community volunteers would be enough. At the very least Nintendo should pledge to not block preservation efforts or use legal threats.

Here's a fucking idea. Cultural artifacts of any significance shouldn't be this easy to destroy. And corporate entities that do so should become pariahs.

There's more to this than a brief skim reveals. Mentioning Linux gets you demonetized? Can anyone fill in the blanks?

I think the issue is orthogonal. I'm not a huge fan of react but it's an example of an architecture where the structure that is (imposed/encouraged) helps avoid the problem you're talking about. I don't think the is

Do you feel the same about sneaking html into javascript? Just curious if it's a Python-specific objection.

I am still not entirely convinced that "disallowing code from being used by AI" is going to hurt megacorps in the long run - or the individual. I guess plenty of people have already made their own call on this matter but I'm

The problem was that on the whole people didn't use jQuery to "load html snippets" and the architecture of jQuery tended to push people towards client-side spaghetti. htmx encourages you to put most of the logic on the server

This feels like the wrong way to look at things. It's not that it's "difficult" to switch from React/Vue to htmx - it's that it's easier to build with htmx in the first place. I wouldn't throw out com
