Well actually, looks like we're getting there. The problem is seemingly solved by OS X app sandbox and Mac App Store review process (the sandbox alone is not enough, because it allows to declare 'exceptions' like full disk ac

I think the point here is that all of those companies still work, and hardly take any effort to find, so Pinterest does not care anyway.

Re .ssh/config, this only makes sense for cli tools. If you're on a Mac and writing a desktop sandboxed GUI app, reading .ssh/config isn't even an option. Same for W8 Metro apps (if those can even contain a Node.js runtime; not sure about t

Just wanted to say that $100 gets you pretty high-end medical diagnosis here in Russia. Unlike in US, doctors and lawers are not highly-paid professionals in here (unlike, say, IT guys).

Looks like more of a how-to-start-a-business coaching. I think that's different; I'm looking for a day-to-day ‘companionship’ rather than coaching.

I'm sorry if it's a dumb question, but… what's that? The web site looks like a HN clone, although I'm sure I didn't get it.

Thanks. The channel has a frightening number of members, though; I would imagine this kind of activity would require splitting up into much smaller groups.

If you mean another post by the same name which was on HN a while ago, no, not a dupe. I actually posted this in reply to that one. (Edit: and no, wasn't me who posted it here. Just got suspiciously high activity and checked HN.)
