That's true 99.99% of the time. However, just to play devil's advocate, there is a class of attacks based around injecting code into logfiles since they'll log the query string of a GET request. If you can then get the server to say include

PoF built critical mass via marketing. OKC is a superior product in every way except sheer number of users.

Technically yes, but not at all in practice. Once you run 3 adjustments you generally want to tweak the first. Without adjustment layers you usually just run a fourth transformation.

The arguments may be bunk, but I do think we should challenge our base assumptions from time to time. From that perspective I find this sort of thing fun.

Agreed, good for Rich. Personally, I'd have no problem blowing people off who ask for more than they were promised if it got to this point. Then again, that might bring negativity to the community, so I can see how the decision to just stop

I caught the same thing, but learned something interesting while double checking I wasn't crazy (from man 2 fork): Since version 2.3.3, rather than invoking the kernel's fork() system call, the glibc fork() wrapper that is provided as

One other thing a lot of people don't know about Rubinius is that its fundamental concurrency primitive is Rubinius::Channel, similar to channels in Go. For example, see Rubinius' implementation of class Mutex: https://github.com/evanphx/r

It is a meritocracy in that simple projects often only have 1 person working on them. One would think, given that , there'd be more women involved, as there's no discrimination there.

Here's my question. Where are the girls in FOSS? Given that 15-17% number, you'd think there would be more. What are the barriers?

Interesting article, but I'm not sold on the benefits of N rack mini-apps vs a rails app w/ multiple controllers, the author even mentions that each mini-app is, in-essence, a controller. It honestly mostly just sounds like more of a pain i

I would call made up statistics about the greatness of your framework (11x better!) hilariously inflammatory. In fact the humorous depth of the statements' detachment from reality kinda takes any real power to incite away from them.
