VueJS is a lightweight version of Angular but has the same pitfalls when its comes to being isomorphic. React is an engineers overkill solution. JSX is bluck. I use mithril.

I loved this video because I got all the references. I sit on the Ruby on Rails facebook group, and its flooded with people from India trying to learn ruby. What I find unusual is they publish tutorials when there are plenty of good sources

I own quite a few copies of the Lucky Peach but I find myself not able to make the majority of recipes because their recipes focus on strong overpowering ingredients. To me this is sad way of cooking, where a recipe is dominated by onions,

I don't know whats wrong with vanilla rails. The most I have to do to organize large projects is used concerns. For better performance I serve up json directly from Postgres. All these additional abstractions makes it hard to migrate a

I think MithrilJS has the best trade-offs. You get insane speed without insane complications. I dread ever having to write ReactJS again as the entire setup is quite gross. The sliver of speed in ReactJS is not worth the bloat.

Well gave up trying to run or preview this math editor. Also its using MathJax which is already known to be very slow compared to roll your own or Katex. I guess I'll stick with MathQuill which lets you preview as you type. http:/

The project's success is due to the ecosystem they've created. Any introductions of designers/developers could spell entire doom for the project. I can appreciate not bringing in new talent as it is an unnecessary gamble.
