I don't. Property that is held (which can be held in a variety of ways by a plethora of entities) is targeted separately, just as income is, just as capital gains are, which property can also generate.

What an odd hill to die on. The article doesn't mention lobbying efforts at all, and I'd be very curious to take a look at the money trail - there's got to be one. This isn't a strong enough idealogical position and both

Agree that well-rounded time management skills are required, or are essential to learn. My spouse, for example, has some of the worst time management skills I've ever seen, unless she's bounded by the confines of an office working

Very much YMMV.12 year remote engineer here, and I absolutely work less on the whole, versus my past in-office gigs, due to far more focused and efficient stints of development, etc. Perhaps some folks just aren't the type that should&

I don't know anything about the situation, but what is evident is this is some of the worst of Twitter on display, and why I shy away from the platform more often than not.

The same exists on nearly every social media site, sadly. Natural progression I would assume. On Twitter, in dev circles, we have "Junior Dev Porn" where the same poll/questions are asked, the same anecdotes are recycled, and

I wouldn't classify the comment I replied to as egregious. I can't find in the guidelines where it mentions not discussing downvotes. Perhaps you could cite that, specifically.

Experienced the same in Florida. We had to relocate while our home was being cleared of hazardous material. I had Spectrum at that location being worked on at one price. The temporary digs were about 3 miles away and the price was 1/3

I downvoted this because the guidelines [1] specifically state "Don't be snarky." There are plenty of outlets for snark. I like HN for thoughtful replies, even when I disagree with them. [1] https://news.ycombinato

If you're going to downvote, at least provide objective reasoning for it. Otherwise it's just petty disagreement, which violates the spirit of HN.
