No it just tunnels your DNS traffic and traffic to the 10.6.0.* IPs. Could also add with a comma 192.168.1.0/24 for other local IPs you want to route through WG.

Or just don't route all traffic through your WG tunnel. Change allowed ip from 0.0.0.0/24 to the local ranges you want to reach fx 10.6.0.0/24

Using pivpn with Wireguard instead of Tailscale and pihole. With on-demand split VPN on the phone with DNS pointed to pihole it resolve the remote IP set in /etc/pivpn/hosts.wireguard while on VPN otherwise just the local IP

There are free DynDNS services for example DuckDNS https://www.duckdns.org/ Could also get a domain name and make a simple cron job and update your DNS. Works with many DNS registrars like Cloudflare.
