I worked at Tinder and we had full access to all the messages in plaintext, and ability to look up users by phone number, email, etc.

It seems theres multiple things by the name ARC. There is one by AI2 which is a text based science questions/word problems. The one Im referring to is this https://lab42.global/arc/ https://lab42.global

I don't see how one would not desire it. If youre happy youre happy. If it were possible to be high on heroin my whole life I wouldnt argue against it

No I havent read that but probably have read very similar things. Its very easy to say these things so I never put much weight to them. I am just going off my own experiences. What you might consider virtuous like helping others may lead do

My feeling is there is neither true path to happiness nor a definite way to sustain it. Any positive change in time will turn to be its undoing.

Well 1. Radiology is an insanely niche subject not indiciative of general intelligence, and 2. AI being at good radiology isn't about object recognition or spatial reasoning, its data analysis connecting features to outcomes. Lastly, c

I disagree that daily life is "trivial pattern recognition". Just our visual object recognition is immensely powerful and far beyond and current AI. A simple task like walking to the fridge requires a ton of pattern recognition an

How does infrequentcy of revoked tokens reduce requests? Dont you have to check every token to see if its revoked? Or Do all the server instances store a copy of all revoked tokens in memory/local db?

Not an issue for most cases but a cache of revoked tokens is going to be much smaller than a db of all users tokens.

Its great if the interviewer actually takes time to sort out the questions you have, cause seemingly simple questions to you have a lot of assumptions you made. I had an interview "design an app store". I tried asking, ok an app s

Good point. If a short session time isnt good enough, you can use a simple key store to check for revoked tokens. Youll be hitting a db but its somewhat better since its just a very small db of revoked tokens. Its hard for me to imagine tho

My understanding is theyre two sides of the same coin. Any loop can be written recurisvely or iteratively. And a loop is really just a move to the same instruction, or equivalently a replication of the same instruction.

While true, to build a language using NAND gates, the language has to specify how to assemble those gates, which will still require conditionals and loops if you want it to build any machine.

Nothing stops you from denormalizing in SQL though, you have the power to do both. The NoSQL paradigm has its merits, it just seems like it can be applied in SQL with far less limitations.

I still don't understand the advantage of NoSQL over just defining a JSON column and additionally defining columns for the fields you want to query. Postgres lets you do queries over json documents too iirc.

I agree with you for the most part. Brainfuck certainly would be way more readable if you gave a collection of symbols names and used those instead. But thats mostly because base level constructs of brainfuck are too low level. Nonetheless

I dont see why one cant have both. Give it names and translate them down to the base symbols so it has a readable syntax. Id just call it something like exceptLast, lastOf, or endOff or something.

Why dont the symbols just have names instead of stuff like ||\x. I assume it gets easy to read once you practiced it a bunch but I feel like its such a hindrance to readability/popularity for the sake of appearing simple (look we can r
