Because its SO much faster not to have to do all that. I think 10x is no joke, and if you're doing MVP, its just not worth the mental effort.

I don't either, but I really think Im just burnt out. The simplest things piss me off.

Totally agree, AI interfaces will become the norm. Even all the websites, desktop/mobile apps will become obsolete.

I want it yes. I already feel like Im the one doing the dumb work for the AI of manually clicking windows and typing in a command here or there it cant do. Ive also been getting increasingly annoyed with how tedious it is to do the same rep

Most books have so much nonsense details that I cant help but skip most of it. On the other hand technical books can be so overwhelmingly difficult that you need to go outside and do hours of learning to understand one tidbit of it

The big thing is here is more training and that comes in two flavors: 1. Using AI helps as part of the training process. 2. All the prompts going to openai/claude is a gold mine.

I mean whatever part of the code that is read by the AI has to be in the content window at some point or another nSprewd throughout your sessions Id think even with a huge codebase, 90% of it is going to be there

Isnt the codebase in the context window?

Ive been noticing something similar recently. If somethings not working out itll be like "Ok this isnt working out, lets just switch to doing this other thing instead you explicitly said not to do". For example I wanted to get VNC

No I am saying the basis of intelligence must be shared, not that we have the same exact mental model. I might for example say a human entered a building, a bat might on the other hand think "some big block with two sticks moved throug

Id highly disagree with that. Were all living in the same shared universe, and underlying every intelligence must be precisely an understanding of events happening in this space-time.

I dont get this criticism at all, would you prefer someone write a shittier UI? And since when were people writing amazing bug free software before hand where not being vibe coded meant you could trust its good software? I guess to be fair,

I think I agree. Fast iteration in many cases > long thought out ideas going the wrong direction. The issue is purely a mentality one where AI makes it really easy to push features fast without spending as much time thinking through them

I mean to be fair, if you are using agents more than likely you are not thinking about aspects of the code as deeply as you would have before. If you write things yourself you spend far more time thinking about every little decision that

Agent coded != vibe coded. I don't write code manually anymore, but Im still getting the exact code output that I want.

Why isnt LLM training itself open sourced? With all the compute in the world, something like Folding@home here would be killer

Thats still pretty bad. Its no longer private if all your code goes through LLM training set and is resurfable to everyone publicly. Why would I ever use copilot on any code Id want to be kept private? Labling it a private repo and having a

I dunno how you guys even go throuh the $200 subscription. I use it every day for work and side projects doing tasks in parallel and Im no where newr the limit on $100.

There's definitely use cases for this for long running tasks, like doing research, but for typical use cases they require way too much constant supervision and interaction

No not just like it, because the only difference with methampathemines is that the added meth group makes it able to cross the blood barrier much quicker, hence why I said its equivalent to a lose dose of meth. The chemical/biological
