Meh everyone ultimately has a personal preference so it's a bit hyperbole to say that everyone that hasn't used it would like it. Just like everything, it would depend on the project, team, and individual. I personally was against

I'm in the same boat. I laughed the first time I saw it on Hacker News and thought it was the dumbest replacement to just using style tags. Boy I felt like an idiot when I started using it. I spend way less time going from idea in my h

But this isn't much different than: <Button class=`border text-gray ${override}`/> <CalloutButton /> extends <Button override="text-blue" /> I'd argue you have less markup to write overal

I thought the same thing before requiring to use it on an open-source project I was collaborating on.... it changed my mind within a few hours. It is a God send. Like others have said, the selector logic is top-notch and not having to build

...until feature parity. Soon Apple/Google will be able to integrate with those features too. Aside from "dead-zones", I'm sure they will eventually have more integrations with car interfaces. Even so, both Google and Ap

Design language is great. Improvements: - What can I barter? Why not show items available for bartering. I won't sign up unless I know what I'm signing up for - Navigation should always be on top even if it looks better somewhere

Dude yes! Haha I use this all the time! It's so nice to have the files in Git too and it's such an easy dev install.

IIRC it redirects DNS queries system-wide as well which definitely would hinder general interest tracking.

Eh... I would argue only power-users would switch to chrome on Samsung too. No way in hell the free Samsung phone deals that carriers have all the time are given to more tech savy people than non-tech savy people.

Ha! You're complaining about HNers while also being one? You missing a crucial point here. Using an alternative browser on iOS is not actually that helpful. Nine-times out of ten, I use spotlight (swiping down from the home screen) to

It kind of looks as though the moose reflects enough light back to Tesla's cameras to make it think another vehicle is oncoming so it switches off the beams. Then turns them back on when the "vehicle" (aka moose) disappears.

Side note, without remote start, it is illegal to run a vehicle without an occupant in many states (** with keys in the ignition).

I agree the general meaning would be free to say and do anything, however in reality free speech is freedom of speech from the government. Not individuals or private entities. What is common in law is the idea of the market place of ideas.

Source? In Minnesota at least, I've lived in 5 houses between the years 80s to 2010s that all had external venting with gas stove tops (no remodels). Our new house we are building also is required to have external venting due to code.

I really like this reasoning. It's fun to think of a whole civilization evolving in an alternate way to us having a total different set of problems to solve. Electricity generation, vehicle transport, dwellings, etc. Probably completel

I don't really know if I understand this. How is this not a programming language with a longer and more complex syntax structure? It would seem to be just as confusing to non-technical people as teaching them a language like Python.

Honestly I completely agree. Taxation seems to be the only way to actual instigate change. Too high though you would likely lead to the same result as a full ban. I could see no real reason for a "blackmarket" to exist for menthol

I feel like we engineers are putting too many abstractions on things. It's like we are all peddling "get rich quick" schemes to people trying to weasel our way into some super popular process. This screams like an anti-direct
