1. Every few years we find a new chemical like BPA is bad for us. The companies just made a meme called 'BPA free' and continue making slightly different crap. Goto 1. I still see microwave popcorn bags, teflon pans and plastic te

So many feeding bottles and sterilizers are plastic. I'd like to see plastic and forever chemicals banned from as many areas as possible. Baby feeding equipment has got to be the best place to start along with hot food packaging.

I've had good luck promoting my game on social media but when someone hears the name and Google's it they'll get results like pic related where someone has embedded an ad-wrapped knock-off of the game which contains more adve

I can't find much detail in that marketing page. What makes it IoT? Does it do some low energy protocol like zigbee/thread/lora etc? It appears to be just bt/wifi.

Apple gets it. If I'm using a laptop I don't want to stick my fingers onto a touch screen blocking my view and leaving marks. Macbook does one thing extremely well. It is a laptop for serious people not a lap-tablet. The touch pa

I do actually post about other pollution like (micro)plastics. But this thread is not about that. Back to the scope of the thread: The reason I find it so distasteful is that the pilots have a big noise footprint. One aircraft can be hear

My hot take is that hobby pilots are a bunch of selfish assholes creating a bunch of noise and emissions just do they can have fun. So selfish they only started thinking about removing lead from fuel very recently. One of the aircraft is ev

SvelteKit is amazing. I disagree about Skeleton though. Skeleton makes you feel productive and safe at first but it has a lot of foot-guns. It leads you down a happy path until you don't like something and then it's difficult to c

Might be time to update the roadmap here. Good to see triggers. I need window queries and subscriptions and then it might become my goto DB for small projects.

I don't know what is up with companies wanting to ban the dislike emotion. Spotify used to have a dislike button for that one awful song your favourite musician produced. No longer, I have to skip the same song over and over.

It would be very easy for them to pull it off vs the other way around. So many Chinese people work in Canada. But practically no western people work in China.

I have a conspiracy theory that a lot of domain registration companies like GoDaddy sell the domain name searches to squatters (sometimes themselves). The larger cloud companies don't have so much incentive do this. I always look up do

Fixed headers and popups that are not a problem per se but it's bad implementations that cause the problems. It's possible to use a print stylesheet to hide certain elements and set the background to white.
