This "identity" consists of a different display name, it has no effect whatsoever on people seeing shared servers or your actual username by clicking the profile.

Large cloud providers don't do things out of the good in their hearts, but they sure like to pretend so whenever they are forced to improve something.

I bet there's some new regulation being implemented here that they just happened to forget to mention in the post.

Why would you be receiving transactional emails for an account that isn't yours?

While it's a great achievement for sure, quantized Mistral 7b is not even remotely comparable to ChatGPT.

Sure, but you can't do security engineering if you're training an AI model on the data. It turns the whole thing into vibes-based programming.

All fun and games until that AI model accidentally reveals confidential technical details about issues you have/had to competitors.

Wouldn't this be very annoying to work with, because now you have to explicitly move or copy the string whenever you want to construct one of these objects?

Aren't they all anonymous, though? So they could just change their name for the next operation. Maybe all these groups are already the same people behind the scenes.

I don't understand how anyone would ever pay. There is nothing guaranteeing you the hackers actually destroy their copy of the data on payment, so they could just come back and ask you for another payment every few months. Or are we re

Both GPUs support both formats, so comparing an 8 bit quantized model on one to a 16 bit model on another is nonsense. That'll massively affect the result.

The point is that these artificial "limitations" should not be allowed to exist. We already figured this out for most consumer goods decades ago, it's time to do the same for computers.

Yes. Given time. Take down all of these stupid walled gardens. People should own their devices and the manufacturer should have absolutely no say in what applications they install, from where they get those, or who they do business with,

It's faster to run inference and training. Less memory bandwidth needed.

All parameters still need to be loaded into vram, it'll dynamically select two submodels to run on each token so it would be extremely slow to swap them out.

A lot of lower end TVs have really bad implementations of it. Maybe try it again on a LG G3 or a Sony A95L and it might be completely different from what you remember.

Well then, they can have that same alignment with an actual high frame rate movie at 120Hz, displaying every 5th frame.

For me the higher frame rate is not really about response time, it is all about smooth motion. Panning the camera at 60Hz is just barely acceptable. 120Hz is where it starts looking real nice and I can really see things during the pan. 24

I tried the black frame insertion mode on mine, but I can see the strobing, so it is extremely uncomfortable to look at.

Of course they can. If you ever try to go back, it looks like garbage. There is no limit to improving the illusion of smooth motion, but it scales non-linearly (you need to double the frame rate each time to improve it noticeably). I can&#x

Even the ""HFR"" is a joke. What is 48 fps supposed to be? Every modern TV can do 120 already. Use that as a baseline.

DLSS 3 really is fantastic technology. It works amazingly well for interpolating a game from 60 to 120 (or higher). It fails pretty hard if you start with 24 though. We'll need something like RIFE for that, but currently no hardware ex
