It's a great option of travel. It's good for us to have a variety of ways to travel. Sure, the government doesn't subsidize train travel as much as it does for air and road, but I believe it's important, and so do others

A lot of the issue, I believe, is that those long-distance services cater to a lot of small towns that have no airport or good bus service. So Senators don't want to lose that service in their state. And they fight to keep the service,

I actually said right away how it's tricky to achieve privacy with a social network. However, to me, owning your data is a big step towards it. I have nothing to do with Diaspora, I'm not on it and don't donate. Out of curios

I feel like that when it comes to social media, decentralized is really the answer. I'm not sure I could trust many big corps (maybe Wikimedia). Mastodon and Diaspora fill these needs, perhaps what they need is better marketing and imp

Personally, WaPo is one, if not the top paper in the country. Their dedication to great journalism is why I subscribe. If you're an Amazon Prime member you get a big discount too.

This is an interesting comparison. Curious as what you think makes OS X better. From what I understand Ubuntu is faster, uses less resources and is much more extensible. All things know to be Sublime-like.

Wow, I read a lot of hate for PWAs, I had no idea. I use them and enjoy a lot of them (mobile.twitter.com). It really depends on the app, some benefit from being PWA others would need to be native. But the idea that we shouldn't add a

I believe that's a Chrome feature, not a specific website feature. If you have a manifest and it's https, Chrome will ask if you want to add to home screen. Although, I think they only ask once.

I agree with the mentality that this is a team effort, and when it fails, a team failure. And that when something goes wrong what's important is to understand it, and put in place a way for it to not happen again. Kudos to GitLab for t
