I do wish Github had a dark theme option at least. Sometimes I do a lot of reading on there at night, and all that white is too much.

- jsargiox 10y agoSame here, although this seems to be more of a mistake, I would very much like a dark theme
- hanley 10y agoIt looks like they are adding options to choose from different styles. I don't see the link yet in my account settings but this screenshot makes me think it's coming to everyone. https://twitter.com/jublonet/status/830131346798424064 https://twitter.com/jublonet/status/830131346798424064

- smileysteve 10y agoBetter for all of those AMOLED phones too.
- transcranial 10y agoI've been using Stylish (https://userstyles.org/styles/browse/github https://userstyles.org/styles/browse/github) for this -- works pretty well.

- JasonSage 10y agoI have a dark theme for GitHub from userstyles.org enabled. I've never run into any issues with it.
- ctrlrsf 10y agoI use Stylish on Safari and Chrome with both the GitHub Dark and Hacker News Dark themes. My eyes couldn't be happier. https://userstyles.org/styles/37035/github-dark https://userstyles.org/styles/37035/github-dark https://userstyles.org/styles/113994/hacker-news-dark https://userstyles.org/styles/113994/hacker-news-dark
- Zren 10y agoFor anyone considering using stylish on chrome, you should know that the latest update turned on tracking by default. It will send your current url to fetch a list of "styles for this url", but does it even when the popup isn't visible. You can check by looking at the network tab of the `background.js`.
