To get access doesn't mean you get access for free! It's pretty clear that their business model is build on providing that feed to other companies and charging them for the data they provide to ehtir customers.

Not if you are buying SSD disks. SSD disks offer very good random read performance, so it does make sense to use them for non often accessed items.

You can all thank twitter for that. They only give access to their feed to a few selected buddy companies. It was just a matter of time until other sites follow and try to cash out on this!

I guess he never really had to work with Office or Outlook, or otherwise he would have known their advantages. Firing him was just a logical consequence, since he didn't seem to do an awful lot of work.

So why did you miss the plane? Was it your fault or the airlines? If it was your fault, what do you expect to happen? If you travel by TGV in France and miss your train, your place is also gone and you have to buy a new ticket.

We too. It's really cheap (but only on the price! :-) And the advertised prices have 19% sales tax included, so it's even cheaper for companies :-)

It depends on what country you reside. In the USA, UK, Israel etc, you have a fair use clause and you might be allowed of doing it. In other countries, alone the fact that you are storing the content (without publishing it) is blatant theft

They said they moved their servers to 3 availabilty zones and still had the same problems. What's the probably of having the same attack in 3 zones on a subnet you are randomly assigned to? Besides, firing would definitely be a little harsh
