When I took Trigonometry in high school, it was all about memorizing a bunch of stuff and I did horribly. When I took it in college, the professor taught us how to derive everything based on the Unit Circle. It just clicked. I ended up d

Exactly. It's not that Spotify can't do in app purchases. They just don't want to pay for the privilege.

It's also easier to stick to a diet working remotely. No more junk food lunches with coworkers, or people bringing in treats. I've lost 80 pounds over the past two years, and I think remote working played a big part in it.

Add 13 years, and I could have written this. I must admit I cringed a bit when the author said 40 was old. I still love what I do, and I have no desire to live the manager life of all day meetings.

My company solved it by giving everybody a flat rate every month. We can use it for internet or getting a better office chair, or whatever we see fit. Seems fair.

I hate to say it, but I am reluctant to read any 'testimony' from nurses or patients about vaccine harm or issues without knowing their political affiliation. If a bunch of Cheeto loving nurses are claiming it, I will weigh that

I'm perfectly happy with Apple helping me keep my email address out of the author's hands. If he wants it that badly, it's probably not anything that's in my best interest.

I wish I could go back to this. But, I'm part of an international team now; so my productive mornings are a thing of the past. Now, I'm constantly in meetings with the European teams. Then, the American side wants some of my af

WP 5.1 was the best version. If I could use it, I would. Most of us don't need a lot of bells and whistles in a word processor.

Neither the author nor the publication seem credible sources for information on this topic. The author is a Physics professor who was fired for giving all of his students A+ in a course after coming under fire for putting a course descript

>But Washington stopped short of offering renters comparable relief on the assumption that those in distress would likely qualify for the $1,200 checks the Treasury began mailing out in April, as well as beefed-up unemployment benefits.

Most of us don't have any choice and have to continue to work - burned out or not. I've found that burnout comes and goes in waves though. It doesn't necessarily take changing jobs to help resolve it. Sometimes, it's

We were hit by it over the weekend, and because of our failsafes, our customers didn't notice a thing. Stuff happens. It's our job to prepare for these things as well.

On the flip side, you have to challenge them and give them the opportunity to work hard. I think schools get lazy with gifted kids. Gifted kids deserve to be challenged and put to the limits of their abilities the same as non-gifted child

I tend to keep most of my documents in Dropbox or iCloud, and use Alfred to find what I want by typing a word that I think is in the title. Dropbox can search within documents too, and I try to have an organized file structure. Source code

It seems to be the mentality lately that nobody wants to fix existing stuff and make it better. They want to launch their own disruptive startup, library, whatever. It's true in job boards, it's true in code libraries and tools
