- blantonl 7y agoExactly. The benefits of the cloud allow you almost unlimited computing resources spread across enormous swaths of geography, power, and internet access. Therefore, if you were impacted, its your fault, not AWS. Sorry.

- cloakandswagger 7y agoI'm not the original commenter but for an EC2 hosted application, any architecture that uses a VPC with proper cross-AZ subnetting and a load balancer would not have been impacted. EBS snapshots would minimize any data loss.
