I'm not sure but I think it's permanent. If you don't mind getting balder than you currently are, great.

I can tell you it'll make your hair fall out. And maybe make you 20% less anxious/more focused, but honestly it's hard to say... actually, in retrospect I never experienced acute anxiety when I was experimenting with it. Cert

Isn’t that sort of like saying most humans die because their heart stops beating?

The die-off started in the 70s when climate change was < 0.5C. OTOH, the story of globalization introducing pests/pathogens to naive populations is an extremely common one, and there's no reason to doubt it here.

It's true! Rule of thumb (which may surprise people) is that cars, boats and planes are all about the same for grams CO2 / passenger mile. So if you commute 10 miles to work every day, they are similar.

This is essentially the mechanism the article describes... I think the most plausible explanation is that it's dazzle camo, the question is what species does it dazzle?

The top 1% control 40% of the US's wealth, while the next 9% after that control... 36%. But most of that 9% still have to work at something resembling a real job. So I see nothing wrong with focusing on the top 1%.
