Knowing nothing about aviation, I find air planes with one engine very scary. Even when I am not traveling in it, since I don't want one to fall on me either. So I am glad we probably won't see millions of these "flying cars" being sold. If

What I find appalling about the Zynga, the Facebook and the Groupon IPO is that people at the top who actually are responsible for the mess can cash out early whereas people at the bottom who have to rely on people at the top who already ca

Well that's not true for everyone. I live in a nice loft in the Dogpatch and have a nice BayView. I would never trait that for a shitty Victorian. I would be happy if 90% of victorians were to be torn down to build some nice bright lofts wi

I would argue that this is actually an advantage of story points. You don't know who will be working on it at estimation time. But a 2-pointer should take any developer about twice as long as it would take the same developer to do a 1-point

Same here. I find it absolutely astonishing that they don't tell you how to get it. I had no idea how to get this. It wasn't even clear to me if this was an Android app or a web page. Especially from just looking at the pictures and without

Is that distinction into two parts, how you are seeing the world, or are you quoting the Chinese government? If it's your view, can you please elaborate, why you see this as the way to spli up the world, rather than let's say "the world is

So you think that if you write everything from scratch it won't have any flaws? Of course it will have flaws, you just won't know about it.

I think we did not see new Mac Pros and new iMacs because Apple wants to update them to use a retina display as well. I think it's more likely that Apple expects the displays to be available soon than that Apple doesn't care about these lin

There already are laws against identity theft, so we don't need another one that has the convenient side effect of adding more ways to cut free speech. This law might be used in rare cases like this, but probably more often to shut up negat

With the same logic the US human rights report should not contain anything about other countries that respect human rights better than th US. That would lead to the exclusion of most other western countries from the report. Everyone should

Can anyone say how this compares to mediaelementjs? They seem to be very similar. I liked mediaelement.js, but ran into massive problems when using it in a colorbox under IE8.

In February 2009, before Wikileaks was well known, I listened to an interview ( http://www.kuechenradio.org/wp/?p=366 ) with the back then German representative of wikileaks. Back then they had the problem that big media didn't care about a
