Yes, I understand. I would just like the messaging to stress that the engine or containerd or low-level component x is the same between CE and EE and will continue to be.

I don't think this is the intention. Personally, I think the name "CE" is a bit unfortunate, as it implies what you said. However, for the time-being at least, I would expect the core Docker engine to remain the same between

The author is (mis)quoting me there. I meant the initial process of installing and getting Swarm running is much easier than k8s or Mesos, not that on-going maintenance was easier. Also, since I wrote that, k8s has done a lot of work to sim

It's not clear how that would be technically possible. ISPs could report users which use VPNs, but assuming the VPN isn't in UK jurisdiction, the govt has no way of forcing the VPN to keep or hand over logs. Their best bet would p

I have some sympathy for the OP here, as I have heard of a lot of people running into pain with DBs. But yes, they definitely should not be writing to the UFS, as the OP seems to be doing. However, even if you're using volumes, you nee

Why do you want to retag images? I'd suggest simply not doing this and adding all the tags and labels you need at build time.

I think there's also momentum to add runc as an alternative runtime engine, which makes sense. Also, Mesos have started shipping their own container runtime. This feels like an inflection point in the history of containers.
