The thing that I use find for most commonly is to perform a hierarchical grep, i.e find . -exec grep -Hn regex \{\} \; How would you do that with the du | grep combo?

The map showing the clustering around the lab is not labelled in the article. It looks like the map from the senate report which used internet search history. I recall that their point in the original report was that there was a cluster of

It depends on the amount of binocular overlap: https://www.roadtovr.com/understanding-binocular-overlap-and... The correct number is somewhere between a multiplier of 1 and 2 depending on the setup of the display. But 2x 4k

It depends on task though. Selection is easy to do using eye-tracking as you just have to shift your attention onto the object long enough to click. Drawing is a task that is more like aiming - attempting to hold your gaze at a precise loca

Could you expand on your numbers a little? Assuming 4k resolution per eye and 120 degree FoV would give 3840*2/120 = 64 ppd. Using the link that you gave a 4k screen at 60cm is 73 ppd, so it is reasonably close. Apple haven't said

Two hours of battery life is a joke. They did not mention FoV, which seems to be the biggest limitation on other headsets. The technology looks nice: foveated rendering, eye tracking controls and geature recognition. The image quality could

Reminds me of the worst code-base that I ever worked on... Start with Java, but don't work in Java directly. Add a layer of meta-programming on top. In this case it was an aspect-weaving system that allowed injecting methods into class

Certainty about predictions of the future has always been close to zero. If you take a person from an appropriate time and ask them what the future will look like in 1000, 100 or even 20 years then their predictions will bear little resembl

No. Architectural leakage via a side-channel is far from simple. It requires deep understanding of the code (i.e. what it does, why it is doing it that way and the implied effect of executing the code on the architecture) and also of the ar
