The ambiguity can be resolved by type annotations, so I think that this won't cause much pain in practice.

It doesn't have to, but see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivanpah_Solar_Power_Facility#F... for an example of how it can.

I doubt the power producers care what happens to the power since they just need to get rid of it. Given the rarity of these events and the cost of building something that can dissipate large amounts of energy very quickly I don't thin

That is more descriptive, but it still sounds like queue functionality. Streaming processing is just a queue that gets emptied quickly and pub-sub is just a set of queues.

Depending on what you mean by "this" there are offerings by the big players. Google has Cloud Pub/Sub and AWS has Kinesis in addition to SQS, so two of the big players do have offerings. I'm not familiar enough with Az

Why would the FBI confiscate and sell his property? Just because he was arrested doesn't mean he's guilty, and even if he his that doesn't give the FBI the right to confiscate his property.

According to a video in the Ars Technica article linked in another post the Moai may have been toppled by an earthquake rather than inter clan warfare, so there may not have been war.

What do you think of as voxels? It seems like a value at a point in a three dimensional grid is the volume equivalent of a pixel.

You don't need to spend anywhere close to $1600. I just put together http://pcpartpicker.com/p/p8MjmG with only a little consideration for price and it's less than $900 while exceeding the requirements.

I used one server as a Tor relay and another to server static files. The Tor node used almost 100% of one core to server about 25mbps of traffic and there wasn't enough load on the static file server to notice the CPU load, but decomp

Camp fires do produce harmful particles and I'm pretty sure that BBQs do as well. Purposefully breathing the smoke generated by either of them is a bad idea.

Ada get compiled to machine code, so of course it can run directly on the CPU. There's also no reason it can't be used to write a compiler and there's probably several Ada compilers written in Ada. I'm not sure what you
