Yes, how the debt was created is interesting. I'm having trouble with the framing of the article in relation to "forgiving" a debt.

Why is this an article? People and organizations (even banks) and governments erase debt all the time. Sometimes it's from kindness, sometimes for PR, usually because they're unable to collect it. You can't really tell the di

Agree. Additionally, I think it should in general allow sections with custom titles. For example currently there is a 'writing' section, but as a researcher you want 'publications' (which is pretty much the same, but nam

As someone who helped migrate a university course from Matlab to python I must say proprietary features of Matlab had nothing to do with the reason it lasted so long. Basically, it was mainly inhertia. Older professors that liked it and rar

Maybe it simpler that quaternions (debatable) or simpler than learning all of the concepts you've mentioned separately, but I wouldn't really call it a "simple framework".

Probably no, but that's not the point. These server frameworks have complex code that helps balance load across threads. Loom may make such programs simpler to write, but will not automatically give a boost to already optimized code.

We need more papers like this. Very nice. I wonder though if this work would be recognized for academic progress in research institutions? Specifically, is it publishable in some top-tier journal? (If so, which one?)

I think the space requirements are different. Even if you only care about previous applications of f. Keeping snapshots of every input isn't always feasible.
