Instead of using Pi wouldn't it be better to choose a number for which the conjecture is true? And for which the index is easy to compute?

I am curious what this means for copyright. I.e. if all music/songs were already encoded in Pi even before the universe started existing.

You can stop the recursion when you've found an index that is smaller than what you wanted to store.

I mean most of the time I want just the layout like it says on the keys. Isn't that representative of at least 90% of all users?

What I hate about keyboards is that you have to select your key layout when you setup your OS. Why isn't that information simply accessible over the USB protocol? Yes, I know why, because they didn't think of it.

I bet somewhere in Shenzhen you can actually have a hardware hackaton with an infinite supply of components and a PCB fab around the corner. They should organize this and show us how it is done :)

Don't use async but use threads instead. Threading treats the CPU as a resource, which it is! Whereas async simply locks the CPU, which can deplete the system for longer computations. If you hate garbage collection pauses (which most R

Wait, if it's Gemini why do they call it "Apple Intelligence"? Is Google okay with that?

We're reaching the point where people need to install GC/MS systems in their homes in order to be safe from food hazards.

Amazing how someone again finds a meaningless thing Apple does better than the rest then blows it out of proportions. Makes you wonder if they are on Apple's PR team.

Also if you divide by 10 your maximum is 0.9, not 1.0. So you still need a calculator to map between the two.

Sorry, but I just don't believe all this. We're talking about hiding a folder. Of course the developers could do that.

Why can't a filesystem create the lost+found folder only when it needs to store files in it? That would be a much cleaner approach, imho. Added benefit is that you'd immediately see it if something is wrong with a disk.

Well, I find it hard to reason with RGB values. It is much easier to use HSV, to be honest, after looking up the Hue with a tool.

We already have 3-digit hex colors, e.g. #fff is white. I don't see the point of using decimals here. You only lose resolution.

Well, the populist approach is to exploit that people are uninformed about most of the important topics and then induce fear with just one tiny topic. If people were better informed, they would see that the tiny topic didn't matter in

The danger to democracy has always been uninformed voters. Now it is mis-informed voters.
