Oh man, I would LOVE for all APIs to always return real HTTP response codes. It's crazy frustrating to get a 200 OK with an empty object or something instead of a payload with the expected/agreed-upon format. If someone can pars

That's how I feel about "performant". Unfortunately I'll never stop seeing such jargon every day or two, working in tech. It is what it is, I guess. :\

Just today I was thinking about XP and the phrase "Fisher-Price" came to mind. I liked XP's UI, even as whimsical and toy-like (and easy to make fun of) as it was. I'd prefer if computers and OSes retained the whimsy a

Oh right! Nice. I've only played it once or twice, but now I'm kinda thinking I should give it another try -- forgot how good it looks. People at Cyan were playing this (and you joined up)?? That's awesome haha

I know what you mean and I've definitely thought the same. Wealthy people often have views of life and the world quite distinct from, well, not-so-wealthy/struggling people. That said, from my limited knowledge of the history of

Yeah I mean I've got light sunburns on completely cloudy days while hiking. UV goes through clouds no problem, much to the surprise of many.

I've got all three books but only got the hardcover of the Book of Atrus (and a recent anniversary edition reprint of it, just for fun). Wish I got hardcovers of Ti'ana and D'ni!

Hilariously I've spent hours troubleshooting why my Pi running Pi-hole is intermittently inaccessible from my iPhone, despite being able to connect to the Pi from other machines. I still have no clue why. Last night I finally capture
