Even better, your custom memcpy might sometimes result in working code and sometimes be replaced with a call to memcpy[1] and then break. When this happens will depend on the compiler and optimization level and even if you manage to write o

Firefox already uses an external process to run Flash so leaving that on GTK2 while the browser uses GTK3 isn't an issue. The equivalent of XEmbed (to put the flash content in the page) in Wayland is writing a nested Wayland compositor

To delete a project you simply delete the directory using your OS file manager. This is not a common operation and your file manager likely has options for undo and such that are OS specific.

This is how the Wii works but the Wii U has a more traditional kernel model. This is required due to the system's multitasking abilities (run "mini" apps like the browser or download manager along side a normal app/game)

Of course since processors are out of order and superscalar reducing instructions isn't always a worthy goal either. You might end up with less instructions but less things happening in parallel. And then of course you have to balance

Since Spout never really existed as a working Minecraft server and SpoutCraft was a vanilla client mod I'll assume you mean they were doing selling while being vanilla mods. In that case, the most likely reason they got away with it is

Back in 2012 there was actually talk of them doing an app store like model to host mods/plugins when they got the API done. However, they were doing it for the opposite reason: to ensure no one was making money from the mods. The idea

But you can't replace the GPU and Apple has full source code to the driver stack (and probably wrote most of it themselves instead of using the source from ImgTec).

The 'lore', if you will, around this decision is that 3dfx pushed for GLSL being handled in the driver instead of a bytecode model because they had the best driver developers so would have a clear advantage. Who knows if that was

At least for large customers of PowerVR the GPU design includes the source code for the drivers. This is why you can't even rely on the same GPU model or even exact same SoC working similarly in the Android world because they come from

Replaced with what? IPv6 has problems, sure, but the main problem is that IPv4 and IPv6 aren't compatible with each other. You're going to have that problem with any other replacement for IPv4 as well.
