HTMX doesn't require Django - you can use it with any web framework you like. And server side rendering should be fundamental knowledge that anybody working in the web-space should understand.

The difference, is that with HTMX, the above line and the HTMX JavaScript file is all you need. There is no separate build systems, or mess of dependencies, or anything like that. You just link to the HTMX JS file, and you're away. I

Mozilla asks people to contribute ideas on "Mozilla Connect", but then chooses to ignore most of the top-rated ideas. To be fair, better tab management is first and third of the list, so they are looking to improve that one. But P

Interesting timing for me since I was just reading the semver.org site just last week. I know that their proposal is to only include breaking changes in the major version, but in my experience lots of products use major versions for marketi

I'm not a lawyer, so I don't know if this is relevant or not, but it's not really Scarlett Johansson's voice we're talking about, it's "the character in Her that Scarlett Johansson voiced". I'd b

Toyota have been making hybrids since the 90s. How is it that BYD have managed to come out of nowhere and doubled the range of any Prius?

Interesting - I hadn't considered this before, but makes perfect sense. Feels like it's something that's easy to miss, as lots of APIs are hosted behind generic web application firewalls that often have automatic HTTPS redire

I don't have any prompt customisations and am constantly amazed by the quality of responses. I use it mostly for help with Python and Django projects, and sometimes a solution it provides "smells bad" - I'll look at it,

The PDF linked to in the article explains how it works: https://26011849.fs1.hubspotusercontent-eu1.net/hubfs/260118... Obviously, it's not bladeless - you just can't see the blades. Page 4 of the PDF explain

It's not just Google! I tried this in Bing, and Copilot gave me this answer: While there are 54 recognized countries in Africa, none of them begin with the letter “K”. The closest is Kenya, which starts with a “K” sound, but is a

I agree on the quality aspect of sleep. I've started to wear earplugs when sleeping, and now I get a much deeper, undisturbed sleep. I still struggle in actually getting in to bed. Not sure if this is common with ADHD people, but I

From reading the linked issue thread, it doesn't sound like this title is correct. The AI feature has not been removed from iTerm2, instead they have created an additional plugin that is required to make the AI features work. BTW - I&#

The AI aspect to this story is the least interesting bit about it. The magazine created a fake interview with Michael Schumaker, claiming it was the first interview since his injury. The whole thing was fabricated - the fact they used AI to

Yeah, I saw that. The GMKtek boxes I linked to can fit in the palm of your hand, have great power efficiencies, and cost less than $150. I have a couple of the Intel N100 models but would love to get one with an ARM processor instead.

The new Qualcomm chips are the only thing I find exciting about all these recent Windows Copilot announcements. I'd love to get one of these new chips in a mini PC like the ones from GMKtek, e.g. https://www.gmktec.com/

Appreciate your response. In my opinion, I don't want my terminal to have AI integration. I don't like the idea of AI-generated code being a single key-press away from being sent to a remote server. Others may disagree with that o
