Ripple is trying it, but they have issues. As far as I know the issues are not technical, but business related. https://ripple.com/wiki/Consensus

I think mining based crypto-currencies are not the way forward. Consensus based protocols like are far more practical.

I have to agree with this assessment. If Verizon is claiming they have green in their network with 34% utilization to Level 3, then the connection between Level 3 and Verizon is lacking. Is it a simple fix like Level 3 & Netflix claim?

Yes this has to be a bug, I don't think they planned on downloading 80Gb/day and the bandwidth cap is not relevant. Unless they have a terrabyte HD they plan on keeping full there is no reason to download that much.

So is the existence of free will in the scope of science? Are you suggesting that science cannot help us determine if reality actually exists but it can tell us if free will exists? EDIT: I think it cannot for the simple reason that the so

Where is your testable evidence that you are not actually dreaming right now? Can you "prove" it? The point is that certain things are logically axiomatic, I could give you many more examples. So the logical axiom that we exist is

Yet another misinterpreation of the Libet experiment. As Wikipedia and Libet say: >Libet finds that conscious volition is exercised in the form of 'the power of veto' (sometimes called "free won't"[9][10]); the i

Driver support is no doubt better on a Mac. The problem is that Macs do not have a native package management system. Now it is mostly resolved with people basically doing that work for them for free with Homebrew and Ports.
