I ride 20 miles a day in Minneapolis on my e-bike. My biggest fear is when we will ruin it for everyone. There just isn't the proper infrastructure for them. Bike paths around here have 10mph speed limit signs and are mostly mixed use.

It's a very old (1980s) file format that is good for 3D printing but not so good for machining or molding. It saves the geometry as facets and not as "faces" so it is pretty limited in making something that is not square.

The first gen honda insight had a drag coefficient of .25. If you could remove the radiator, intake, and exhaust from the engine and drivetrain it would be possible to hit .21 on a production car.

This makes a lot of sense. S-class cars already have the sensors for self-driving in highway conditions. Uber UATC is actively working on the software for autonomous drivers. This is a large scale capital investment in a safe luxury service

I rent out rooms in my house to two peers that are both college dropouts. Both work jobs that net less than $12/hour. I keep telling them to go to trade school but they never follow through. I got a 4 year degree, realized it was worth

Moving past the nerve gas or explosive payloads, it would be rather easy to equip tasers or other non-violent riot measures on a swarm of micro drones. Like a swarm of wasps that can be targeted and controlled.

I had this running as a node on a RPi2 for a few months. Very light duty and did not consume a lot of resources. Every so often zeronet pages would go dark when the owners made the keys private.

There is a whole car-culture set around rebuilding these cars to factory spec, but there was a reason people were putting disc brakes from a '75 in a '56. Dual brake (front & rear) was not a mandatory thing until '69.
