I did exact same thing for my Apple account. Later I found that even if I have access to my email and to my password, they still keep asking for these secret questions I dont remember the answers.

There is nothing more frustrating than unkillable processes stuck io iowait(D) state. There's no reason for this behavior to exist. And its so easy to hang forever - network blink, your NFS client gets stuck and your programs too.

I was never happy with the way docker was designed - it tried to steal too much work from the operating system. Docker should never had logging framework not should it be a daemon+client talking over socket, creating permission, indirection

To get a proper SLA you need to pay for SLA. What SLA google, azure, aws have is useless, some service credit proportional to the outage duration. Totally nothing to cover lost profits or direct damage. For the last gcloud outage, i think y

The fact that many status pages are updated manually and any incident disclosure need to get approval from management(aws?) does not add to the status page trust. Uptime and error metrics are technical and should be kept away from managers.
