I've heard the following opinion on the internet: "The sole reason Fucsia OS exist is so google can release GPL-free android sometime in the future" How do you feel, is there anything behind this claim?

Hmm, but arent there low-voltage DC server PSU? I know that a lot of network gear(cisco) can be powered by 48V DC. Quick googling shows there are a lot of options like these. I dont see how designing own server form factor is a better solut

The orignal author mentioned how good AWS worked for netflix, but did not mention that netflix rolled their own content delivery system in part because of high traffic cost with all the major cloud providers.

This thread only compares ROI of hosting in cloud with building own datacenter and laying own oceanic fiber(!!). The option of using a colo and magistral ISP somehow fell through the cracks. Of course building one datacenter and own oceanic

It seems that secret blocking now only affects MTS and RT. There are alternative outbound channels in russia, for instance TTK, so protonmail may be available for somebody.

The article already mentions this, but I want to re-state that Geekbench results do not correlate with real world prefroamance and systematically favor ios. The community never received explanation from the authors on these discrepancies, s

Exactly my thoughts - instead of one datacenter class gpu, you can use multuiple desktop components for better performance and more performance per buck. I've seen some sweet supermicro 2U chassis that can fit and run cool four 2080Ti.
