Cool website, but so what..? He risked it all and worked hard to start one of the world's biggest companies, he shouldn't be rewarded for that? I really don't get it.

What does it mean "fail"? What is the goal, to overthrow the regime, so success would mean a change of government? (sorry, I haven't followed)

CloudFlare might be good for site owners, but many times their page makes me click back to search results. I can't be the only one. It's slow and annoying, AI overview is good enough for me most of the times so that added time I b

Is it? I have autofill/passwords, bookmarks, etc., and you can't easily jump between two different browsers as those will get out of sync.

The EU has to get its hand into every aspect of everyone's life. From the material the straw I drink from is made, to what port companies can use for charging, to what companies can do with their own products. I don't get why Euro

One reason for the reduction in global downtime could be that with time they add more and more services that can go down and affect the stats. Just saying.

The question might be that a huge percentage of people still watch those videos and click on ads. My mom, for instance, she might just scroll through all the slop and even believe it's all true, and click on an ad every once in a while

Big time. I visit once/year and I'm always amazed at how useless Facebook has become. I could barely find any updates from my friends, my feed is now an endless stream of AI-generated videos. What's the use for that?

I was wondering the same thing, e.g. if it takes tens or hundreds of millions of dollars to train and keep a model up-to-date, how can an open source one compete with that?
