It's not. My manager expects stuff to be done 10 times quicker than 2 years ago, and that can't happen if I spend time understanding and fixing all code being pushed. At that point I might as well write it myself.

I see. The way I use my phone--mostly for reading--in my case just means that most of the time I would have this thing I don't need taking up space. But I guess it's good to have alternative, people use things in different ways.

Why, do you like them? Solar panels are even worse. Here in Poland they're covering entire fields in the countryside, I have no idea why they don't build them on parking lots or on factory roofs.

Could also be that if you're in Singapore you get better stuff. It's possible that European companies pick crappy, cheaper products that they have a higher margin on to cover importing and transport. I have no idea.

Absolutely! Enjoy. I don't buy anything that has "smart" features, either. For instance, appliances that come with an app I just immediately skip. That might be why I'm not seeing all this superb quality.
