I think you're still missing the point. It isn't all about what we can individually get. I don't want to live in a country where you have to have a special high-paying job to get fair and reasonable holidays and healthcare.

If you write code that can be called without 'unsafe' then you are required to make that code safe. Whether you implement it using unsafe underneath is irrelevant. The unsafe block is there because it does FFI, which hasn't

Sure, but this isn't unsafe code. Code using this library isn't written in an unsafe block, right? You just use it like any other Rust library?

So given that this isn't actually safe, you can presumably write some code that has undefined behaviour using this library for us?

It was not a complaint, it was a question , just like my top-level comment. Was that interpreted as a complaint as well? Is that the problem?

C++ uses `==` for whatever you want. But generally in C++, user-defined types will be documented as either having 'reference semantics' or 'value semantics' and all aspects of the type will conform to that.

So this new concurrent map? Am I right in understanding it's designed for cases where you have a map shared between goroutines but where each goroutine essentially owns some subset of the keys in the map? So basically it's designe

How so? It's on the code review. They see the change, and learn about it..? 99.9% of code review that I do, and that I get, is not training. So maybe don't make all the changes for new employees? I use vim. Most people at my work
