My problem is more like OBS does everything I need, but I need to use OBS as a camera in Zoom or Hangouts, but I suspect CamTwist isn't as feature-rich.

Thanks for maintaining OBS! Any timelines for OBS Virtualcam to be available on macOS? It seems like several software like Snap Camera are integrating with users in this mode, OBS could be really helpful this way in webinars that don't

Not quite. OSB actually is more like "I need a mysql database, give me one, I don't care about the implementation". This is more like service discovery. The GCP OSB-like solution nowadays is https://cloud.google.co

Nice and simple but there are videos that are easily made with hand-writing effect using https://www.videoscribe.co/ . For example, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiybniIIvx0 is entirely made in software.

Knative just needs a gateway (LB); not a full mesh. Istio is the default option. Alternatively you can use Gloo, Ambassador or something specifically built for Knative such as Kourier.

Thanks for repeating what I already said. I responded to the question asked. OP asked if there are simpler alternatives. These are simpler alternatives to Kubernetes. I don't know which part you're not getting, but it appears tha

Not really, no. Cloud Run implements the Knative API, so you can actually take it away and run it on any Kubernetes cluster anywhere on a cloud or in your datacenter.

Google Cloud Run, AWS Fargate, Google App Engine, Heroku etc. are comparable experiences to Kubernetes if you have the flexibility of (1) running on cloud (2) not having to configure host OS or rely on host GPUs etc. Disclaimer: I work at G

That's not accurate. Most FAANG offices in EU are already in "recommended WFH" mode. If anything, US offices of those companies are currently not implementing "mandatory WFH".

Not sure how you're interpreting this thread. Most of Amazon's employees are here in the US. And Amazon discouraging US domestic travel (which obviously isn't as critical as those regions, yet) has nothing to do with what you

I am hearing Amazon has restricted non-essential travel for all its employees (even domestically within the US), which sounds like a bigger news than this. Maybe someone can confirm.
