There is an open question about how file persistence works. The docs claim they persist the filesystem even when they move the container to an idle state but its unclear exactly what that means - https://github.com/cloudflar

You can easily set an alarm in the durable object to check if it should be killed and then call destroy yourself. Just a couple lines of code.

Can services dd to your supported list of MCP servers? Or do you write all the servers?

I don't understand what point you're trying to make. I think we're saying the same thing - $100K fee won't change anything.

Exactly, so this $100K fee shouldn't change anything that isn't already happening. If they could ship the jobs elsewhere that you're worried about, they would have already?

Couldn't companies have already done that if it was so easy to save 2/3 of the salary?

I wonder if they could take it one step further. Do the measurements on the watch, do the calculation on the iPhone, send the results back to the watch for display. Technically all the work is done on the iPhone and the watch is just the IO

Ohh nice can you say more? Do you somehow map your Figma components to React components?

It's not my fault the business chooses to make reservations with phone only. If they want more efficiency they can do online bookings - my agent will have an easier time too.

One thing to make it less annoying for the human on the other end is if the AI just talked a little faster and responded a little faster. Also the the final few few seconds is so cringe where the AI always wants to have the last word. Can y

i really dont get why we cant just feed the openapi spec to the LLM instead of having this intermediate MCP representation. Don't really buy the whole 'the api docs will overwhelm an LLM" - that hasn't been my experience

Agree that a wide diversity of people is great. Disagree on the private school - it is a narrow band, but so is public school. I think ppl overestimate the diversity in public school and underestimate it in private school. Neither is enough

This is a confusion that comes up often - 100% agree with chat-in-the-loop style interfaces. That slows me down way too much and its too hard to fix when it inevitably gets something wrong. I'm mostly talking about Cursor Tab - the sou

I think you're overly painting that process as a waterfall method. In reality, i think its more of a loop. You do the loop a bunch of times and the solution gets better and better. The act of coding sometimes exposes a lot more of the

This was insightful. The re-reasoning part makes sense. So basically, MCP should be a dumbed down version of your API that accomplishes a few tasks really well. It ha to be a subset of what your API could do because if it wasn't, it ei

Can some help me understand why agents can't just use APIs documented by an openapi spec? Seems to work well in my own testing but I'm sure I'm missing something.

There already is a cap. Founders have a fiduciary duty to their shareholders and can't pay themselves unreasonably. Lots of gray area, but there is a limit.
