That one still seems to be 45x45mm. I am now using Philips hue smart buttons which are similar in size. The tiktok ring on the other hand manages to put a simple button, bluetooth, battery and usb port all into a package of roughly 6x10x4mm

I use my pinecil soldering iron to melt brass inserts (for metal screws) into 3d printed parts. It definitely works without a smart iron but if I could use bluetooth to set the right temperature automatically based on the printed material,

Got a link for those buttons? Background: I’ve been trying to find something like that but everything I look at is Smart Home related and bigger than needed. The smallest BLE button that I did find is part of a cheap China Gadget used to sc

I usually recommend chrome dev tools to newer colleagues by saying that they are probably the dev tools with the biggest budget. No idea if I am right but so so many features. That said, 95% of my usual problems can be debugged with the con

Lately I’ve been wondering if a license similar to this but instead based on market cap could be a way to monetize open source projects E.g. 100k/year for each trillion in market cap, updated yearly. First trillion is free

iirc remember some years ago the homebrew repo caused too much load due to their architecture where every client would pull on install or update. Or something like that. Part of the GitHub response afaik included the info that they went as

Does rcmd expose an api to e.g. call it via shell action in BTT? I would like to keep using BTT for higher level config. In BTT I have currently set right cmd as a second hyper key (first one being caps). I could see rcmd being useful if I

looks like lilygo just released a new 2.8" version -> https://www.cnx-software.com/2023/06/10/t-rgb-esp32-s3-board... with the touch layer it is bigger than 2.8" but I bet that can be removed. On

Why is that such a problem if it’s apparently fine to keep phones and other small devices connected 24/7? Aren’t charging circuits standard parts? I would have expected them all to work more or less the same

I would also take a look at esp32 and possibly raspberry pi pico W as well. For the esp32 there is this official example of what I think is faking a usb drive: https://github.com/espressif/arduino-esp32/blob/m

I share that vision but I don’t see the current Apple doing this. With their performance advantage they could easily work towards something like Samsung Dex with a compute core that you plug into different terminals, or macOS on the iPad. B

Slightly unrelated: is there a way or an app to shoot 4k on iPhone or iPad and store it directly on external ssd? Apple often advertises their new pro phones with „professional“ level video production so I always assumed that is possible so

what the other comment said, it replaces output and looks like a proper terminal UI. But it also adds features for hotkeys, progress bars, text input etc. I have it integrated into a bigger CLI project where only a few commands enter the UI
