You do not mass email people with a BCC to find a cofounder. You find someone you like individually and write a response to them based on the strengths in them that you saw. Finding a co-founder should be treated with as much care as dating

The founder mass emailed a bunch of people whose emails he scraped from various popular blogs and HN hackers lists looking for a co-founder and started a reply-all mess. Didn't even have the decency to BCC. Pretty much shitcanned in my book

I don't mean to cherrypick, but Reddit's database situation is highly abnormal and not desirable. They hacked up a spitshined Postgres-driven KV Store that is little more than cpickle->textarea plus an index. Their database infrastruct

I'm in NYC, and I only know a Java dev in MN. I work for a startup in Mountain View (a fairly well known one?) and I still haven't ever worked for a company that exceeded a 5 on the Joel Test. That particular fact is why I'm considering lea

You've been irrational and angry the whole time (not that telling you will change anything) I'll side with how the community is voting on this one. Your behavior isn't appropriate, and it's obvious that you haven't spent any time learning t
