I'd guess you could source it and then override the PS1 env variable with whatever prompt formatting you wanted.

I did that a little. The friction is irritating and enough for me to walk away from the computer after only a few videos. It was just enough to break me from my normal veg and consooooom cycle.

This. I've pretty much stopped using YouTube since the adblocker blocker shut me out. I figure it's a good time to kick a bad habit. :D

I'd go take a look at the Suckless stack of software [0]. All of their apps are short enough to read through (one of them) in a single sitting. You can maintain your own branch, and add in features as and when you need them. [0] https

Thank you! > Personally, I think its quite hilarious that you went straight to k8's. I work in a production environment with some 1.5mil loc that runs in a k8s cluster, so that's what I know. I'm not sure which reverse pro

How willing are you to start from scratch? Pack up your configs in a git repo and nuke your installation. When I run into intractable configuration issues, I typically start from scratch to see if I can get them to work. You might try doing

Wait, wait, so reverse proxy functionality is available in ASP.NET? If I'm deploying an app to a K8s cluster, I assume I would still opt for an ingress rather than making my app handle that bit of functionality? Where's the cutoff

How do you manage page load times? I've been fiddling with Razor/Blazor and sometimes the page load times are obscene (5+ seconds). Is that just because it has debug symbols built in? Or is there something else I'm missing?

Oooh! Ooh! There's a guy who just posted a tool that has a limited license UI. He said he was going to work on rolling a new one. You should reach out maybe? This guy! https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=38044782

I'd be curious about how big the model is. The loading time could be quite long. I suppose with caching, it won't be a big deal after the first run, though.

There are a few products that showed up on HN that I've spent money on. They didn't do sketchy review stuff, they just had a good product that did something I needed . You can do that too.

If you read through the first 8 chapters of Genesis, you'll see that in the beginning God's creation was perfect, without any of the evil you reference. Then you'll see that because humans are intrinsically human, this idea o

I love a good hatch back. My first was a 1991 civic wagovan. My second was a 2000 Golf TDI. My third and current is an Outback. If anyone knows of a left hand drive, all wheel drive diesel hatchback, let me know. That's my unicorn car.

The process is the punishment. Average Joe cannot go toe-to-toe in the legal system as it stands right now. The one with the most money nearly always wins, and - as in this case - the threat of financially ruinous litigation is enough.
