It seems like she just skipped the test because it made her job easier. I feel like most of us have probably taken shortcuts before and justified it after the fact with "well it wasn't really necessary anyway"

If they're restoring from backup that makes sense right? I assume backups are read-only, so deleting messages won't delete them from the backup also. It is sloppy though that you would see anything before the restore was totally
