I did a deep dive on this since progressively more places are taking a hard line about Passkeys. The most flexible, independence preserving thing to do is to use a third party password manager like Bitwarden, and make that the default passk

I like where this is coming from but I'm afraid it's totally backwards. Apologies if coming off as unfriendly. I picked a spot on the map and no store within 25 blocks in any direction has any deals. That's fine, and it'

The tension this article writes about can be expressed to a tech audience as a compression problem. Dollar General wins out on low prices - essentially compressing their value prop onto a single dimension, prices. They won't do the Str

One thing I don't see anyone mentioning here is that OpenWRT allows you to configure your router as code via config files in /etc/. If you straddle the worlds of preferring a "normal" router to a custom built box bu

My Roomba is on a VLAN without internet access and is controlled via rest980[1] running in a container. It has a basic but functional web interface. Valentudo is probably nicer but I opted to trade that for the broad iRobot install base and

I did an exhaustive search scraping all of the supported Lineage OS devices to find a good tradeoff between modernity and a handset that isn't giant, resulting in my Zenfone 8. I'm not ready to upgrade yet but I'm very please
