Technically the Queen (the crown) owns all the land. In practice it doesn't make much difference, but it does kick in if a freehold suddenly has no owner.

With a 20% market increase in a year, you don't have to rent it. Renting a property out always comes with hassle. Many countries have tenant's rights that kick in after a period of time. I live in Barcelona, and the rental market

What? I'm also playing on PS5 and had zero crashes so far (20+ hours). Pop-in, flicker and shimmering? It feels like I'm playing a different game to you.

If this was merged into Rust, I assume it means the use of `unsafe` in std would be "pushed down" one level into Rustix instead. Wonder if that means it would be easier to verify the correctness of `unsafe` use inside Rust itself?

That's not how that works. One common way here is OAuth2 which includes a callback URL such as: https://internal.yourcompany.com/oauth2/callback?token… That token in the callback does not require any kind of cooki

I had this exact experience with New York Times. I subscribed, realized I didn't like their editorial style at all, and then had to call long international phone calls to get it to stop.

The wikipedia page is pretty good https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equal_temperament#Comparison_w... A fifth might even sound off key if you're very used to equal temperament (it's about 2 cents below an equal t

A perfect 5th is not the same as a diminished 6th unless we assume equal temperament tuning. Granted it is the dominant tuning, but it irks me when this is just silently assumed. Plenty of music around that is recorded using actual perfect

We can't cherry pick nice bits of history and ignore the rest. The current government is part of a larger context. For example, the current British PM does not understand why reciting Rudyard Kipling in Myanmar is a problem ( https:&#x

If you got good enough router/access points, you could create separate VLANs for client vs private. Thinking about it, I might just do that when I get back home :)

I know what you mean, but I think there definitely is a difference riding cheap versus expensive bikes. As with most sports requiring tech, the more you spend, the less you tend to fight the tech itself (friction, weight, etc). Granted it&#

Ryanair is pretty good on safety (my brother is a pilot with them). However they do absolutely everything to push costs down. MAX is a significant saving in fuel, which is one of the biggest costs.

With enough data points you'd easily figure out that offset. Just overlay each data point with map data and decide whether the location makes sense. (i.e. you're unlikely to most of the time be in the middle of a lake, farm field
