I think the idea of the fold might means different things to different designers. "Above the fold" is really "Your first Impression". If you have a good first impression, chances are you'll stick around, if not you might leave. Regardless o

Facebook started with $17,000 investment from a friend and was a dorm room project, not a company. When trying to beat someone it is probably a good idea to see how they got to where they are at. Steady growth over time works. Dumping a shi

I think the real take away should be that we are all flawed as human beings. No matter what we do, how much we achieve, how great we become, we are still human and very imperfect. There are certainly some detestable people on this earth, I

Not sure how this memo addresses the complaint of employees being strong armed into relinquishing their stock options. Seems like a very vague and general message that didn't offer any real insite.

Bad experiences with stock options happen a lot in the tech world. I believe it's one reason that working for a startup doesn't have the allure it once had. Many are busting there butts and just collecting a paycheck because their shares ha

This doesn't come a huge surprise. Since a consumer could buy a kindle, 2 kindle touches, and a kindle fire (or some combination) for the same prices a the lowest model iPad. These prices are going to make kindle products really popular for
