As mentioned by others, PHP today is not the PHP that is still in most peoples heads. For me one of the big advantages is ease of deployment. No docker, no images, no overhead, scp it to any toaster running apache and you are done!

Also ã/Ã seems missing? While it's a nice idea and usually I am a sucker for all things starting with European*, it seems to fall short and the practical use seems limited - who is writing more than 3-4 languages at a time? I'

+1 for SyncThing. It (now?) works effortless on my phone and having your screenshots and snapshots automatically on your NAS and PC to process them there is fantastic. Didn't use the "rolling trashbin" feature yet but need to

A set of cheap magsafe style USB connectors for MicroUSB and USB-C I ruined one wireless headset by ripping out the usb socket from the PCB after tripping over the charging wire. After getting a replacement I put the "magsafe" mic

I love all the Affinity products so far but the RAW part of Affinity Photo is where the suite falls a bit short in my opinion. Things I miss most when compared to Lightroom are: - the ability to quickly create circular and gradient masks an

I didn't try it out yet but Kalliope is a similar project (RPi voice assistant) but has an API where you could input a text order via HTTP: https://kalliope-project.github.io/kalliope/api/synapses/#ru...

I was asking myself the same thing and apparently protobuf has no concept of "null", thus I can see how MessagePack might have an advantage depending on your use case here. https://github.com/neuecc/MessagePac

I'm sticking to the XPS family for years now and a - for me very important - thing that rarely gets mentioned is the stunning support you can book with the machine. It's usually something around EUR 200-250 for 4-5 years and you&#
