I absolutely loathe youtube's suggestion stream. It is clearly designed to be exploitative of children's media-illiteracy. Clickbait, misleading and outright deception in the headlines and thumbnails. For lack of a better term &qu

I'm a Tesla shareholder (of little significance in the grand scheme of things, but I bought some) and this wouldn't put me off. In fact, I think they should have a union.

I think this one it my favorite on the list. - Accelerated the shift to self driving cars. That deserves serious credit. If you consider corporate espionage and theft of IP "accelerating the shift" but how much of what Uber was ma

But the salaries they publish in h1b are done so to prove that they are not doing a job cheaper than a comparable American citizen could. The expectation is that h1b's statistically represent the normal curve. (Or are higher) I think

It depends where you start. Now, I typically don't see $200k salary differences but there might be some. If you browse Amazon, Google or Facebook in h1b databases for San Francisco or Seattle you see a range of roughly $130k to $160k.

As the others are saying, there are a lot of features to life in Canada which aren't made up for by a $20,000 difference in salary. It isn't perfect but consider for example the 2017 world happiness report: http://worl

I also think that the retirement-age might also be part of that. At 65 your income is expected to drop significantly. By allowing deferred costs on property tax at the age of retirement, you reduce a pressure on tight resources. Seniors in

I thought the trick was to back up the phone on one side of the border, factory reset / wipe, restore the phone on the other side of the border. Obviously that doesn't work for laptops - but for a phone it is in the realm of possi
